During your period is rare. But any other time using the "pull out method" isn't NOT a sure way to prevent pregnancy. You can still get pregnant that way. Use condoms or the pill to be sure.

Very unlikely but still possible, not to mention gross! =]

You can get pregnant at any time during your cycle!
Any time that an egg and sperm are present, conception can occur.
If you're not ready to get pregnant yet, you need to talk to a doctor or nurse about birth control. It's really important to learn about birth control from a medical professional. There's a lot of stuff that people believe about birth control, that isn't true. You need to learn the facts, from the experts.

If your periods are the usual 28 days and regular, then the chance is small. It's certainly possible, but unlikely.

The truth is that it is a possibility, but rather unlikely, that pregnancy would occur as a result of intercourse during a menstrual period. You are most likely at or near the time of ovulation, which typically occurs about midway between periods. Please spend some time studying the cycle.
