writes: I have been married to my husband for almost five years. Although we have'nt been trying to have a baby, we have had unprotected sex since day one but we have'nt been able to get pregnant. Is it possible to still get pregnant after all this time or is infertility the issue?

i agree.. you may want to see a Dr. BUT.. also try temping and charting... u may have just been in the small percentage every cycle that you just miss ovulation... it is possible... oh.. well that and Saliva can kill sperm... so can lube if your using anything with spermicide or water based (i use pre-seed.. its safe for the swimmers) :) you can also try going to this forum site that im always on... lots of women trying for babies.. they can tell you what to try and where to go...americanpregnancy.com then go to forums..

After five years I would definately think it be time for a trip to the doctors. Here in the UK, you have to have been trying for one year with no luck to be entitled to tests for infertility or reduced fertility.
So I think to put your mind at rest it's time for a check up.
