If you bite your nails because of a bad habit then it wouldn't be OCD...lots of people pick away while watching tv etc. If you bite your nails because you feel very anxious and a sense of panic (the same goes for checking your face), then they would be OCD symptoms, but they are also a sign of other disorders such as dermatillomania or chronic anxiety. OCD is a very complex disorder that requires a full clinical assessment. If you feel that your emotions are getting on top of you, have a chat to a doctor or counsellor.

OCD means you get anxious to the point of panic attacks thinking that something bad will happen if your routines are not in place.
You just have a bad habit or biting your nails and you're a bit anal about clear skin.
Try buying some of that stuff that you paint on your nails that tastes awful. It worked for me when I used to do that.
As for the skin thing, just get your boyfriend to prod you when you do it till you stop. That should sort you out.
Good Luck!! xx

you sound like you might be a bit more tense and uptight than the average person.. but that doesn't sound like OCD to me
OCD is much more extreme... trust me i know someone with it. she washes her hands repeatedly at least once an hour and spends like 5 minutes.. just to make sure there are no germs
