Good for you for seeing the doctor right away. Sorry to hear that it's asthma, but it's better to know what you're dealing with, and it can be managed.
All the best to you and good luck with your love life!

You need to see your doctor to find out what is happening. It is not normal to gag or feel wheezy after intercourse. Now, if it is oral sex, it may be that your gag reflex is being triggered.
It's also possible that if it is during intercourse, the cervix is being pressured or pained which may lead to a vagal response. You shouldn't diagnose yourself, so see a physician, but you might explore webMD.com to see if there are articles there which might help you during your visit to the doctor.
Take care and don't ignore this!

If this is after sex no this is not normal, Have you got asthma hunny? If this is oral as the mod said at the bottom of your question yes that could happen if your not relaxed enough. If this is the first I answered then I suggest a doc ap as you may have some respitory problem that comes on after orgasm thats all I can think of as it should be a pleasurable experience sweetheart get checked out and I hope thing are all well TAKE CARE LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
