A female , anonymous writes:

I am friends with a man who I have known for a few years.

Because we are on a committee together I sent him a text once saying that this particular bush had been cut back because he had complained about it and his reply was 'i must admit I like a well trimmed bush'

another one where i broke my mobile and got it working again and i text him and said can you just text one word to me so i know my mobile is working and he replied 'stiffy'

and one other was when I was going to meet up with a friend in our local pub after coming back from town and this guy was sat next to the friend and text me saying 'leave him alone he is having a quiet pint' and we got into a text conversation and then I said I may come down once I got the bus back from town and he said we wont be here long and I said 'I will be as quick as I can 'and he replied 'you know I like a woman who comes quickly'

Another time when we had been out in a group he was quite drunk and got himself stuck in the toilet, when he got out he said he needed counselling off me in front of everyone and I said what and he repeated it again. Apparently he was quite touchy feely with me but I had not noticed him doing it that much.

Yet when I text him last week about some furniture he is going to help me pick up I said can I have you for the evening and he text back and said 'you might want to rephrase that sentence' and I replied no I mean what I say it relates to picking the furniture your the one with the dirty mind.

On the weekend I text him to ask if he could help pick up something else as he has got a huge van to help out and I pay him for picking it up he said he would come and help me and it was a 24 mile round trip but he wouldn't mention about payment. He asked about measuring it and I didn't have a tape measure and I was honest and said I would have to lie down next to it and measure it that way and of course that set him off. He turned up we carried this furniture down to his van and as we put the last bit in he said

'ooh lets slide this big red thing in' and when he dropped it off he said rights its been in and out jiggled about and now its time to take it out and then i made another comment perfectly innocently and he twisted it so i told him off.

He also commented when i was securing a portable bookcase and unfortunately the one end was by his nether regions and he said something like 'ooh i thought you were going to get me then' and I looked up and he had a cheeky look on his face.

He makes the non text comments when he is on his own with me.

I find him a great laugh and I don't feel insulted by his comments I just wonder why he is doing them.

Would you class these types of texts and comments as cheeky, flirty or innuendo in anyway and do you feel it is just someone that is comfortable with me.
