Hi,

Is there really a curse, spells or witch craft exist, or is it in the mind of the person, who's not having a lot of luck, blames it on such things.

I know from time to time you could end of having bad luck in your life, but does that mean somebody cursed you or put spell on you or could it be you are paranoid.

I just find it hard to believe that, thereare people out there who believe in such things.

how can a spritual healer helps, if its all in the mind of the person.

any suggestion would be greatly apperacited to make me understand of such things.

I do know someone who feels that way,and her life is really twisted ,but I don't know what to think

Thanks

Thaht sounds very interesting.I think, its hard, when someone can experience such a thing, but nobody can realate, as they never had the same experiences.

Its always great to find hope for undestanding. When its happening it is so real, but everybody thinks its just madness, but it isn;t ..

How can anybody find out , where is the curse coming from? What do you think?

myp agony auntThis is a really controversial subject so ill just tell you what i know of personally.

My family is Romani from eastern europe and these things are a very big deal. Curses and witchcraft and what not are considered VERY real. Now there is also a large african branch in my family and i can tell you that in west african religious rituals people are often possessed by spirits and put in to trances and such. As far as it all being in a persons head, many people who are complete non-believers like yourself have had accounts of paranormal possession and activity. It is thought among many that every though gives out an electric charge. This is said to be the reason for psychics, who are said to have a much higher sensitivity to this supposed electric charge. If this is true[which is possible because people as beings have lots of energy stores] then enough bad energy sent toward someone could in affect do a lot of damage.

If your having worries then consult a priest or priestess of the denomination in which you might be "cursed". like if its Vodoun/santeria then see a Santero or a Vodoun priest/ess. there is a good and bad to all religious practice so if you have any serious concerns it is my advice to consult an expert on the concerned field.

Good Luck :]

Hi anon, One of my favorite quotes is "Supersition breeds bad luck."

which i think sums it up, if you are told you've been cursed and don't just ignore it or you decide the omens around you are bad you will look for things around you in your life that back that belief up. That's how the mind works.

I believe belief can have a powerful effect in anyones life be it positive or negative. Suggest to your friend that she read Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson it's incredible and can really help you understand how your beliefs influence your reality. Good luck! (ha!) and i hope you understand a little more.
