This 'relationship' with him began 2 years ago and since then he's lead me on, only talking to me if he wants sex.He never really talks to me, ignores me half the time, slept with a girl while we were 'trying to start a relationship' and then dumped us both and dated a friend of mine over the summer at our work while I watched. I've cried myself to sleep for so long and tried to delete him out of my life but can't because for some stupid reason, I still need him.Are there any steps you suggest to getting over a guy you are madly in love with? Its really hard and ill be honest you never fully let go, once you loose yourself and fall so deep its a part of you gone that you never get back. Remind yourself how lucky you are to know the real him, see how he really is and the way he treats people and count yourself lucky your not the latest to fall for his lies and hurt. Your in position where you can build up a future from the mistakes once made in the past.
The best way to get over a guy is to move on fully, meaning go out more! start enjoying your life, its ok to be sad for a bit and wallow in the fact that you loved the wrong one but after that its time for make up a showy dress! and a girly night out, get back on the scene! A lot of ice cream and depressing cds such as westlifes greatest hits are not the way forward but they help the present situation (yess i speak frm experiance :)) , dont dwell on him too much though, there are guys out there worthy of your love and you will find the right one for you only he wont come knocking on your door you have to do the work to in finding him. They guy you love has many faults and negatives so spend your time looking for the oppisite, the right one for you he is out there its just a matter of finding him. good luck
