To try and get back would be by offering help,making excuses to turn up at your door etc. This is if the break up had been over something minor of course.

you have not given much info. did this person break up with you or you with them? if YOU have still got feeling for them and you want them to have feelings for you then just keep in contact, be nice and let it be known that you are interested in giving things another go. or do the opposite if you no longer want them to have feelings for you
