car sex (little cramped but you can get creative)
try dogging
walk around your area and look for alleyways, abandoned areas/houses.
sneak him in when your mum is asleep,
invite him out when shes gone out,
or just rent a cheap hotel room...
or hold off on sex until he's allowed in your house. I'm sure you can resist

If you dont know the guys you are planning to have sex with you also risk them being a crazy axe murderer if you go somewhere remote. So I would stick to hotels personally. Surely you can get to know them and meet up a few times before you have sex anyway?

By the way - I just googled "best cottaging sites in the UK" and came up with a ton of results. I didn't look at any of them but you can do your own research.

You book a hotel!!!! You're 54 and should be able to afford a cheap one occasionally. Only having to meet someone twice before you bring them home seems totally reasonable if you were talking about a regular boyfriend so I take it that you're talking about cruising/cottaging.
It's technically illegal to have sex in a public place and you can end up being prosecuted if somebody sees you. If that person happens to be a child or vulnerable person you can end up on the sex offenders register as well.
Having said that I understand that there are certain areas in the UK where cottaging is "tolerated" but you would need to get that information from your local gay community rather than a website like this.
Otherwise, the only places in the UK where you are not likely to be caught are in remote areas such as Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Lake District. But, unless you live locally getting there would probably cost as much as a cheap hotel.

No definitely not! Why can't you book a hotel or private room in a hostel or something?
