writes:Are there any men that don't only want sex? My boyfriend told me that every guy on the campus(at our college) is driven mainly by sex. Honestly, it's a little disgusting to me...And I guess I'm just losing a little bit of faith in "good" guys if they are all really after one thing. Could someone help me prove myself wrong? I don't want to go on thinking that guys only want one thing and everything they do is in hopes that they "get some". Thanks. Reply to this Question

 That is a generalized and stereotype statement.Not all guys are driven by sex alone.
Sex maybe in their minds but some could be looking for love, friendship or companionship.

It's not because there are more of the guys who just want sex. It's because those guys are so much less picky about who they approach than the first group.

A few stupid idiots only want sex, but tons of guys want a girl they can have fun with, have a laugh with, who will treat them nice, make them feel like a king and will make them proud that they are alive and in a relationship.
Like everyone else, some guys are looking for love.

We exist, you might have to turn a few rocks first though.

 dont get me wrong there are plenty of guys out there especially ones in school/college/university that just want sex but there are good guys about that want a relationship and to show you compassion but they are quite hard to come across at times.you have to go through a few bad eggs to find the right guy i mean if there wasnt any good guys about then how comes you see parents now who are still together from the age of like 14

reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2010): At your age and especially at uni chances are MOST guys are driven by sex. However, there are a few that aren't and also as you get older and form more amture relationships you will see that sex is only a small (yet important) part of a relationship.
Oh and as a side note- there ARE guys who are not interested in sex. Like my husband!
