writes:last year i sat next to the same guy in three lessons and we got on really well despite being kind of opposite( he was quite cocky whereas i was a bit shy) i mean we were both popular and sporty but apart from that we were pretty much opposite. whenever we talked nobody said anything to us and they alway told evryone else off and this year in most lessons we get to choose our seats but in german this reallly strict teacher keeps telling the person im next to and him that they are talking and made them switch so now he decided to make it perminant i really like this guy but things are quite awkwars between us since he asked me if i liked him and i sed yes and he never told me. so are my teachers trying to matchmake???

 no , your teachers are trying to seperate the discracted in the class to sit next to people different from them so they will actually work and they will be silent.
I dont think teachers have enough time on their hands to sit around and think who would be good together and make them sit next to each other.

 No i wouldnt say your teachers are trying to match make at all. Just ask the guy the next time you see him does he like you and then you will no.
