reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2010): It is rare, but I have read that some guys have trouble having an orgasm and need more than an hour to orgasm. But, as I said, that is rare. When I was in my 30s, I would last about 10 minutes most times. Now that I'm in my 60s, I last a little longer, like 15 to 20 minutes most times. If I go longer than 30 minutes then my wife starts to get sore and we give up.
My wife has told me that none of the guys she ever had sex with when she was younger lasted very long, except one who was pretty small down there. And even then, not an hour.
I do know that I have always had trouble having an orgasm when using a condom and perhaps could have lasted an hour if we hadn't stopped.
We have many times taken an hour including kissing, foreplay, oral, intercourse and some afterplay. That is not unusual for us, but never just intercourse for that long.

Maybe if your friends count from the time they start kissing, to heavy petty, to foreplay, to intercourse; then yeah, I guess that could take an hour's worth of time on a really good day. But actual sex, like having intercourse, NO WAY! Any guy that could last an hour is taking Viagra, and any woman that would be okay with it for an hour straight would have to have been drugged. Your friends definitely don't know what they're talking about unless they're including EVERYTHING that leads up to it until it's finished.

I have this feeling your friends aren't actually nearly as clued is about it all as they'd like you to think. An hour is a long time for a man to be there, and a long time for a women to have to take it! The point is, so long as you and your boyfriend are happy and are both satisfied, there is no problem. Because surely it's better to have good foreplay and sex for a shorter time, than rubbish sex for a long time. Your friends, I think, don't know as much as they want you to think.

At least an hour? Are you kidding me??? I've never heard of that happening naturally !In my experience, 20 minutes is a good day no matter how much experience you have.
