writes: I am a teen girl, and I want to know if having small breasts turns off a guy. I'm 32b, tall and slim, considered quite pretty, but it seems like the only girls getting boyfriends are the ones with big chests.Is that what really matters to most teen guys? I knowits different when guys get older because they are a little more mature and people say its personality that counts most, but it sure doesn't seem that way.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 June 2006): When some ladies get older their breasts sag. You probably wont have that happen to you. You should be grateful becuase you can potentially age well. But big breasts arent bad either..we all know the benefits of having them (the guys you mentioned etc.) but the people who have them just have to make sure they exercise well becuase it shows when they gain weight.
Also on the fact there are two different types of guys. A) guys who are comfortable with their sexuality, and the breast size shouldnt matter how big or small. B) the mommas boys who arent comfortable with their sexuality and need to have HUGE breasts to compensate for their lack of confidence.

Tall, slim, and quite pretty is a very good combination. As long as you've got a good personality, you are the complete package. Do yourself a favor, and avoid getting surgery in order to attract the boys who are only interested in larger breasts. They aren't worth having under those circumstances (it's as if they want a car with a large/powerful engine...but don't realize that unless that car also has good brakes, suspension, and tires that it is an incomplete vehicle that's sure to prove a disappointment in short order).

Some guys like big breasts, some guys like small breasts. You have what you have and that's that - so enjoy everything you have, and look for the right guy in due course.
If you actually had large breast and a guy only liked you because of that, then the relationship wouldn't be of much enjoyment anyway.

 I recently did some counselling work in a cosmetic surgery clinic in the UK. Part of the clinic's work was booking in ladies for breast enlargement or reduction operations. I can tell you there was more demand for reduction work. Basically big breasts can hurt and cause a bad back especially for older ladies. I can also tell you that the ladies having breast enlargement (not all but some) have a general dissatisfaction with their bodies, and themselves that they think can be solved through a nip and tuck...they are taking comfort retail therapy to a new level, and are basically unhappy with their lot in life.
Therefore, you shouldn't worry about what teen boys want with regards to breast size. Any intelligent young lady such as yourself should want to be known for rather more than your breast size. Teenage boys have a perverse interest in any body parts they don't have themselves (...breasts, other bits). Some grow out of it, and some don't. To have a proper relationship with someone is about friendship and to have a personality-attraction rather than for sexual reasons alone (lust wears off!). You will find someone suited to you as you get older. What's more, your body is still growing physically and you may find that your breasts, height etc change until you reach your 20's. So don't worry about your body too much and try to find someone who likes you for who you are, not the size of your wonderbra...or rather let someone find you...

Its hard being a teenager, you are trying to explore the world understand your emotions and the opposite sex and i understand how hard on you it can be, but honey this is really only a confidense thing you feel uneasy about your body and how you look physically so you automatically think everyone around you or that you meet is judging you the same way you are judging yourself but i will be the one to tell you honey they ain't thinking any of the things your thinking about yourself, try giving yourself a small confidense boost everyday look into a mirror and simply compliment yourself yeah, and given time you will start to feel a little more confident about the beautiful person you really are.
