Does anyone believe in signs that make you think that things will be ok? Like if you see a certain person, or hear a certain song when you ask secretly in your mind, and you wonder if its a sign of some sort from above? i know it sounds crazy but intially I thought its only pure coinsidence, and I thought perhaps luck, or timing, but now it's getting out of hand?

I'm not crazy or anything, but I recently broke up with my ex bf, from a secret gay long distance relationship because his feeling all of a sudden changed and he no longer wants a relationship with a man, wants one with a woman, but when we text he said that i'll always be his first and only great love, and that I'll always be his angel, that he has never loved anyone more than he has loved me, but he just can't be with me.

I'm slowly getting used to the idea that we are separated, and getting stronger.

But I can't help but see all this things that remind me of us.

There were times, "and I know this is silly" I ask God to give me signs if things will get better, and if theres a possibility of getting back together.

Then i start seeing a special number that we had, on tv or on the radio, or something that someone says, or the time, and hear his name out of the blue and his name is not so popular, or songs that we liked, and general things that we shared, and this is happening more often than anything else, could this just be pure coinsidence, if it is then GEEEEESSSSS LIKE.

but then again? Could it be, I'm not going on false hopes but I'm finding it strange how this is happening, and whereas before I didn't notice it as much, and I admit that I'm looking for signs.

Could it really be something? or just one of those things that I find or run into at the right time, right place.

i believed in signs in the same way you do but experience has shown me that we only see what we want to see. from my perspective i looked for signs to re unite with an ex and had myself convinced it would work out. it didn't.

the best sign you will get is to have an open disscussion with your partner to determine where you stand and if things can be worked out.

wish you luck

What you are doing is grieving for your relationship, of things that could have been. In a way it is not unlike a bereavement, and that everything you see or do is a sign that brings back memories of the good times you had. Try and keep yourself busy, socialise get out and about. I know its hard to do these things when you are feeling so sad and lonely. But analysing every little thing,as a sign will only push you into depression.I would be inclined not to receive any further texts from your ex either. He is really being quite cruel as he is giving you mixed messages. He doesn't want to be with you, but you're his angel? Surely if you were his angel then he would be with you? Please be strong and move on, he's playing on your emotions.
