Thankyou, i think its a good idea to wait till i'm older.

I have no interest in ever getting into the porn idustry, and if modelling dosn't work out, i a going to become a lawyer.

I get that its hard to get into the industry, but im prepared to put in a lot of hard work and have a strong mind to see me through.

Thankyou for your advice! xx

A female reader, Not My Name Australia +, writes (14 April 2010):

Not My Name agony auntYou can be high maintenance is terms of looking after your physical appearance without being high maintenance is personality and expectations within a relationship.

I have a friend who is a model/actress and I can say men are ridiculous around her, falling over themselves to get near her, it is hilarious to watch actually, ...and I mean famous people who could get in a lot of trouble and on the front covers of newspapers if I divulged what they had been up to in attempts to woo her.

Problem is tho, regular guys were typically too intimidated to approach her, and the rich and famous all wanted to bed her. She never can tell who likes her for just her, or who is just infatuated with her beauty.

Consequently she has been hurt countless times when she thinks a guy likes her or genuinely see's her as a good person and friend, only to have them turn nasty and blow her off when they try to get in her knickers and fail. In reality she has slept with one guy, her current 'nobody' boyfriend, but you would think she was the biggest slut on the planet if you listened to all the rumors and lies from guy braging about banging her all night and other stuff they have dreamt up to look like the big man. Even stupid famous married men have done this to sound like 'the man' without thinking how easily their wives could hear their bull and kick their butts. It's sad how people treat her.

She has no females friends either except for myself and a couple of others, coz most women are either jealous of her beauty, jealous of the attention she gets everywhere she goes, worried she could bag their boyfriends or husbands with a click of her fingers, or can;t stand that their signifcant others cant hide that they drool over her.

It's not all it is cracked up to be, .. it can be a sad and lonely path full of plastic people who all want something.

As for management, oi, oi, oi, don't get me started, they are the worst predators of the lot. She has been lied to , scammed, ripped off, had her image put up for sale on porn pic sites, you name it. Currently she is being extorted for $25,000 by her lovely ex manager to get him to take revealling pictures that were done for her own personal keepsake of the internet. She has also had the owners/manages of internationally well known modelling agencies try to trade sex for publicity, .. uggh, the whole industry is disgusting imo, so be very wary if stepping foot in to it.

There is no guarentee that you can perdue this safely, and I would be amazed if any models got through a career without any eating disorder also alot of young girls just end up doing porn so watch out people don't persuade you. At 14 you haven't fully developed you'll have to wait tilll your about 17-18 to see what you really look like

good luck
