reader, anonymous, writes (7 January 2007): Boys and girls your age can be very mean to each other even when they might secretly like you ... and sometimes they are just plain mean for no reason other than they don't know how to behave better..... It is always the best practice to be nice, to be kind to every one you meet and stick up for yourself when they are mean to you and ask them to treat you nicely if they want to be your friend, that is how you know they like you, if they will listen and respect your feelings.
