Pretty much everyone is victimised and has a sterotype
The Blonde = Stupid
Chav = Working Class Mongrel
Teens = Hoodlums
Red = Ginger
There are more i left the racist ones out
Some people fulfill there sterotype, but 90% dont and the people who fuel them are to blame
A

But its people like those that the word chav was devised for, that ruin it for everyone else. Like hooligans with hoodies making everyone think that teenagers wearing hoodies are all lazy trouble makers and binge drinkers. If you wear a tracksuit and listen to drum and base, you have a bad attitude. If you slick back your hair and wear big hoop earrings, you will become a teen mum scrounging from the council.
I intensely dislike negative stereotypes and the people that cause them.

But anyway, back to your question. I guess they can be, but surely they deserve it? I mean, 2 wrongs don't make a right but they can't expect to be sent flowers in the post if they're smashing people's car windows in.

Try these definitions:

Actually, Uncle Sneaker is just being paranoid about it because he drives a "chav car" and wears a baseball cap while he's driving it. I keep telling him he's far too old to be a chav and it's only an extended mid-life crisis, but I don't think he believes me...
And back to the question. Are chav's victimised? Absolutely. Quite right too. Anti-social little gits.
Unless we're talking about real chavs - where I think the name originated before being corrupted and confused. Chavo - Romany boy, or Chavee - Romany girl (spelling may vary), and I do mean Romany which shouldn't be confused with pikey, tinker, gorger or any other of the assorted less pleasant travellers and ex-travellers who tend to all be grouped together under the term "gipsy". For the Romany, the word chav is most definitely a compliment, implying true Romany blood and, more importantly, true Romany values and beliefs. In which case the answer is yes. They've been victimised, persecuted, oppressed and disciminated against, mainly unfairly, for centuries.
