A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi I'm 20 and I kind of have an embarassing problem with my body and it's really affecting my sex life. Most people have a brownish areola pigment at the nipple of their boob but I don't, and I've been dumped because of it. Is it not normal or am I freaking out over nothing??

Glamour models and porn stars often colour their nipples with lip stick. So even theirs arent perfect. Dont worry about it. You are fine as you are.

SirenaBlusera agony auntAs a matter or interest... you say it's not brownish or reddish. I know this is really personal and I'm not pressuring you to answer me, but I'm curious. I'm dying to know... exactly what colour is it?

Anyone who would dump you over that is a superficial idiot! If somebody truly loves you, then that characteristic you described would not matter to them.

Moo's Mum agony auntI used to worry about my boobs all the time before I had a boyfriend. My nipples are completely flat and my areolae are very light pink. When I went into hospital to have my baby I remember being very nervous that I wouldn't be able to breastfeed because of my flat nipples and I remember the nurse telling me the since she had been a maternity nurse she had seen hundreds of different types of nipples and areolae.

You will get a boyfriend who loves you for who you are not what your breasts look like.

Honest Answer agony auntI agree with marieclaire, breasts and nipples come in all shapes and sizes. Nipples can be big, small, dark brown, pink, and even hairy. If this guy dumped you because of this, he is a loser. Your body is beautiful, learn to love it and embrace. We are all different. And thats what makes us unique.

Good Luck!

Jeff
