writes:I'm really confused. I like this guy and at one point I thought he liked me too, he always looked at me when he laughed at something and used to stare at me a lot. But recently he hardly speaks to me yet I keep thinking that he likes me because like today people keep saying like when we had to think of reasons that were good (for a project we are doing) they kept saying, "hes fit, nice hair" etc n stuff like that n just general things that people say that might hint he likes me but then again I think well why is he different with me. The thing is, I can't get him out of my head and I just think about just being able to go somewhere and do stuff together (like just hang out nothing beyond that) but then the next minute I think when I'm with him nah I couldn't go out with you etc. Probably because I've never been bothered about getting a boyfriend but he just stands out. So I'm so confused on how I feel for him. I have had afew dreams about him in the past but I had one last night and I wasn't even thinking about him before I went to sleep. In the dream we were just standing outside the classroom and like some people do when they come closer to look at what your looking at (I was reading something) and he sort of put his hand on my arm etc like some people do (but in real life he isn't the type to do that) and then after that I can't really remember but I know I was sitting with him and we were just the same and he sort of pulled me in to cuddle up to him. So I really don't know what this dream means or if he likes me. In one way he's not very shy, acts quite immature actually, a bit childish but then again I think he has a shy side. Please help what do I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (12 February 2008): Dreams are just that, dreams, so stop putting any meanings to it and enjoy your life. We all have dreams. I had a corker last night, but i dont think Brad Pitt even knows i exist.

 I think your dream indicates your desire to break down the barriers between you and this guy, and be close to each other. His age, and his readiness for a girlfriend is getting in the way and I suspect it will until he grows up a little more and becomes more sure of himself and his feelings about females. There's nothing you can do to rush this process. He just isn't there yet. But you can still be friends even if nothing ever develops between you. Good luck.
