Any tips to become more confident?

How can I be more confident? I am 19 years old, never had a boyfriend, etc.. I feel ugly compared to other girls, and I just dont see why a guy would want to be with me.I have been told im pretty but I just dont believe it. There is this one guy who keeps trying to go out with me, which of course I want to too but I am just not confident. I feel like maybe he is just using me (although I dont have any evidence or anything). How can I make myself feel better about myself?

Angelicc agony aunti personal have confident isuess but i have found the best way for me personal is to take small risks. i have a real problem talking to guys, expressing myself this is since i've join college. so i took smalls steps which is helping me to gain the confidents i need. you need to decide what it is you feel your lacky and work on it thats what i'm doing

smeedle agony auntYou do seem to have low self esteem and if possible I suggest you go to assertivness classes, or buy some books that deal with improving your self immage.

This bloke that is interested in you, go for it it will be a megga confidence boost, he probably is attracted to your shyness and this will make him feel all protective towards you, Men do like shy women, they do not all like the confident or loud ones.

sounds like you have low self esteem and you need to get that self confidence back on track, i have a similiar problem so to help myself i joined up to a gym, at first i though that it is a stupid idea i would not fit in at a gym but i signed up and now when im feeling down i go to the gym and i work out enjoy myself take my mp3 player and listen to my fav tunes and just enjoy myself, and when your done you will feel so much better about yourself and its helping your body stay healthy, im not saying that going to the gym will stop you feeling like this but it will help, you need to find somethign you enjoy doing and get out and do it or get out and try someting totally not you something you would never do. and most important be yourself, if your looking for a guy dont but up a wall and protend your someone else just be yourself. it sounds like someone already likes you for you which is great, you will probably find that the reason you have not got a b/f is because you put up a wall around you so they cant get in, just keep in mind that guys dont really like to go for girls that are needy, it sounds like this one guy that wants to date you has gotten to know you in some way, you just need to relax and be confident around guys you can do this by makig eye contact, starting conversations, asking them questions about what sports they like etc... good luck im sure you will find someone soon.
