writes: I like this girl at school and I've talked with her a few times however, I started noticing that I really liked her a few months ago and since then, it's really been getting hard to try and make the leap forward to trying to talk to her. The few times that I did talk to her, we connected in way that I liked and it was great. By the way, she's the shy type, I never really heard her speak except to me and a couple of her friends. She's by herself a lot too so it should be easy but something keeps stopping me from just talking to her. I really want to get to know her better before I ask her out so any tips on how to overcome my nervousness just to talk to her?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 April 2008): Purposely bump in2 her outside of school and keep talking 2 her as soon as tht small connection is broken ur left with nothing. Small house parties are always a good place 2 get 2 know eachother better tht way u both have ur friends 2 lean on if things get a little awkward.

well hun c u have a clear signal..since she is shy she will speak to selected people who she is comfortable with and u are 1 among them..so go ahead talk to her,she isnt shy with u right,forget all the nervousness and ask her out..may be she wants to hear that fom u 2..dont take too long though,she may lose interest!!all the best u will do awesome
