Hey there,
you must like this girl alot!
well what i think you should do is just start off a normal convo like "hey, how are you" then after mention something about animals as you say you both like animals. Then get to no her a bit, invite her out. Then when you feel the time is right ask her out! If she says no then dont worry about it, its not the end of the world is it? it could be that she doesnt feel ready or maybe doesnt want to be in a relationship, but dont give up still be friends.
I hope that helps
Good Luck xxxx

sorry jenna, but i wouldn't say that you're medium popular, and list off your qualities. I'm 14, and If I wanted a guy to ask me out, he would ask me directly, not through my friends, take me to one side, but not when I'm busy, and ask if I wanted to go out to the cinema, or the shops or wherever. Get her email address and/or phonenumber but don't make it sound pervy. Just say. erm. What phone have you got? . . Oh, I'd looked at that one, is it good? . . I don't think I've got your number, can I have it?.. .I don't think she'll directly say no, she may give you an excuse, but don't challenge her about it, just go with the flow and don't get too hung up on it. She might share her phone, or her mum might check her messages. When asking her to the cinema, you should ask her about a film that's just been released, (or is in the pictures atm) tell her that you fancy seeing it, she might agree with you, if she does, just say. Oh, well what are you doing this Saturday? (or whenever night you wanted) Do you fancy going to see it with me?Once you are there, like Eve said, conversation should just flow.If you get stuck, ask her about the film, or school, or gossip.Good luck, let me know how it goes.

Why don't you ask her if she wants to go to the local cat and dog home with you. Let her know you've always fancied going and just never got round to it, or you could ask her if she fancies hanging out at the weekend, you could go to the mall or just for a coffee or a smoothie! Once you are out together your love of animals should be the topic of conversation.
