The best thing I can think of is to try and get him to finish on his stomach, or, if you're into it, your stomach. Other body parts can work to, but the torso area gives you the biggest amount of space with the least chance of er, dripping.
Make sure you keep a box of tissues handy or, failing that, a towel or some kind of cloth. Perhaps try lying on a towel during, so then if the mess does go a bit further than you'd hoped, it will get on the towel and not on the sheets.
