A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello everyone, im going to try not to long. I am an event management graduate and I have been unemployed since last year July. I use to live with my boyfriend since I started university but once I finished university I had to move back to my parents house as I didn’t have a job to support myself.

I been home since I graduated and I feel so desperate and sad at home as I can’t find even a normal job which means no money to spend on going out, clothes and other girlie things.

I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me because I even had someone professional to check on it and they said is excellent so what is going wrong.

What should I do next? I really desperate ?

why not find a crappy job while you look for something in your field? There's no shame in working at McDonalds if you need to temporarily, even though it sucks because you probably thought your burger-slinging days were over

You have a degree so maybe re-train, be a teacher?

Its not just you and its not personal. There are millions out of work, all ages at the moment. My son took 18months after graduating with a masters, to find a job. He went all over the UK for interviews. Only persistance pays off in the end.Be open to trying anything, do voluntary work - also look at this site if you haven't already

some good openings on there, Good Luck
