Spots are caused by your body over-reactig to the male hormone tostesterone-i think thats the right one. everyone has it, but some poeple react more to it than others. you have to be on medication for a long time and it does have side effects. at first your skin gets worse, but its all worth it in the end, i promise!!! i know have beautiful skin and cant believe how bad it used to be. i hope this helps

oh gosh, i had TERRIBLE skin all through high school, and it is just starting to really clear up! clean & clear worked decently, but if it is really bothering you, hit up the dermatologist! right now i am using a topical antibacterial called evoclin and it is really working! also, if it is really bad you might consider getting on the pill for acne purposes. a friend of mine had really bad breakouts on her back and they put her on it because acne is caused mainly by the hormonal changes girls go through in their teens to twenties. and when i got it, my face really cleared up. hope i helped! also, neosporin on open ones really helps. gl!
