Any ideas on how to help her enjoy intercourse? And stop it from hurting her?

I've been dating my girlfriend for over a year and we have been intimate for over half of that. Things are going wonderfully in all aspects except one. Whenever we have intercourse it hurts her, a lot. The last time we did it, by the time I orgasmed she was crying. I've done some looking online and found various techniques to reduce or eliminate the pain but I don't know if any of them work. I love sex with her and I think it would be 1000 times better if she enjoyed it too. If she could get into it. She says it's always hurt and that she can't get off by vaginal intercourse. My goal is to prove her wrong.

Any ideas on how to remedy the situation?

Painful intercourse is a recognized medical problem that may have several causes. Get her checked out by a doctor and make sure there isn't a physical basis for it.

With that out of the way, the doctor should be able to suggest things you can work on together, or refer you to a counselor specializing in sexual problems.

Well you could start by stopping as soon as she feels pain. It's no wonder she can't relax if she knows you are going to carry on no matter how bad it gets.

If you stop sex for a while and begin to work up to it and assure her that as soon as it starts to hurt, you'll stop, then she will be able to relax and stay turned on.

It's normal for it to hurt for a while but if this has been going on that long then there is a problem.

You should also get her to see a doctor as there are some medical conditions that can cause everything to seize up down there.

Good Luck!! xx
