 Not sure, but maybe the "oh's" are a little rough ? It's hard to conclude from your post. Best thing always is to ask him how he likes it.... as in get your hand on him and be brave enough to ask "is that alright"? or better still ask him to show you how he does it... perfect ! and copy him - he's your best teacher for sure !
