writes:I'm 26 and falling fast in love with a 17 year old. We both know how each other feels and have agreed to wait until she is 18 to have a relationship. This is pretty complicated as I know and almost dated this girls older sister. Not to mention i went to high school with the sister older than the one i just mentioned! Also, we work together, but have agreed that that wont work when we are together. I guess its romantic and all that were waiting, and i really like this girl A LOT, and she has echoed my feeling too. We talk all the time. She doesnt turn 18 for 8 MONTHS! I am going to wait for this girl. Any advice on how to make this thing a little less painful? Or how to manage it once we are (hopefully, god willing) together? I mean, I know were doing the right thing by waiting, but it is such a long time. Reply to this Question

Don't rush it. I know how u feel .I exprence such last year am 19 and she is 17 and she said i should wait until she turn 18 . And i told my best friend about it and he said i should take it easy and wait .I took my friend's advice. Not knowing that the don't even like me ie she is just pretending and this happended about 2 mounts later . Thinks to my friend bcos if it happens that i rushed it i would end up broken hearted . So take it easy and be patiece .Think twicee.

 i know how you feel. i was 17 when i first started talkin to this guy. hes 31. and we had both wanted to wait until i turned 18 before going onto the next level. but it was really hard seeing as how we were talkin in the summer and i didnt turn 18 til february. but i guess our self control wasnt strong enough because we ended up sleeping together on dec 30th. i know at that tyme it was illegal but it wasnt a big deal to us bcuz it was only two months prior to my bday. we still talk now and my feelings for him has only grown. we been through a lot of things, and at times i wanna kill him, but i havent felt this way about a guy since my ex, who was my first love. so i wanna wish you luck with the girl. dont worry, if you have enough self control, youll be able to wait. and just think about it like this, the longer you wait, the more special itll be when it comes :)
