I live in a very small town, and have tried applying for lots of jobs close to where i live, with no luck, which is why i am looking at going away. Is this possible, even though i am only on benefits ?.The problem i have though is that i don't have much confidence, and i haven't lived away from my family before . I would like to experience living in a different area though, even just temporarily. I hope you can offer some advice.

Find this out then this will take you in the direction best suited for you. You are taking a big leap and getting out of a situation that goes nowhere.Have you any interest in the NHS ...training as a HCA Health care assistant ..while getting paid wages...you would eventually be fully qualified as a nurse...physio...etc..home study courses to help you on your way..there is funding out there bursary etc. Sometimes you can live in nurses accomodation, or certainly flat share with other student nurses.. Bank staff HCA is a good way in if you have no prior experience.good luck...climb out of the rut and into the world and bloom :)Do your homework..decide what you want to do anything is possible.spunky monkey.......

Also, it would be best (if possible) to save up plenty of money to start with, so that you can afford to relocated. The cost of moving, even if not very far away, can be very expensive when you have to take out insurance, pay for your accomodation (renting or buying a home), moving your stuff, and buying anything new like furniture or appliances that you need. If you are having difficulty finding a job, perhaps you need some sort of additional training, or to do a course, in order to increase your chances? The other option would be, if you have friends or relatives in a different area, to stay with them for awhile and try to look for a job that way.If you are just looking for the experience of getting out of home, you could always move into a flat or house-share somewhere in your town. There are heaps of options, so keep looking and start making a plan to get where you want to be. Good luck!
