I'm gonna be stuck in my vacation house for about 2 weeks and I really want to meet some new people. I don't have a problem with my personality or looks, I'm not worried about that part. My house is 2 minutes from the beach but it's in an isolated neigbourhood. It takes 20 minutes to drive to the next city. The only thing that's near is a tennis club and a restaurant and a little grocery shop. I don't think I'm very shy but I still want some advice! :) thanks!

Moo's Mum agony auntIt's funny how you don't want to be with your parents at your age. I remember feeling like that too when I was 16. I'm in my late 30's now and I'd love to spend two weeks with my parents. :-)

You will just have to go for lots of walks and buy lots of iceblocks at the store. I still think you should join the tennis club if you can. You may not meet people your age but you will meet other people and be busy. Take a good book and lie on the beach and read it. Man I'd give my eye teeth to be able to do that.

I'm 16 so that's not really possible and I'm stuck with my parents as I forgot to mention that
