I've been on a few dates, but I just can't seem to get over her, even though I know we are not meant for each other I'm still hurting and I don't know how to stop it. The contact we do have I just don't see the point in it because we don't acheive anything from it as its just how are you texts, she texts me, I never text her, and I'm scared to bump into her as I don't know what I would say. She moved on very quickly after we split and that hurt me. So I guess I'm just after some advice as to what to do, is there unfinished talking I need to do with her? Or should I just tell her I don't want to speak to her again and draw a line? I'm just finding it hard to stop hurting and I don't know why. Any advice would be great.

You know how you pull a band aid fast to minimise the pain? You are pulling it off s l o w l y by keeping in contact with her. Cut off all ties and rip that band aid off so you can start healing.
