Am I pregnant?... This is probably the most asked question on this site.

Girls and boys let me first say that if you're not ready to become parents ALWAYS USE A CONDOM OR TAKE THE PILL!!! This is VERY important. Remember this. OK back to the question:

1) A girl can get pregnant from pre-cum so DON'T count on the pull-out method.

2) If you two are fooling around and some pre-cum or sperm came nearby the vagina there is a very small possibility that she can get pregnant, but you can't be too careful.

3) Even if you are a virgin and sperm comes on the vagina you can still get pregnant!

4) To be safe take the morning after pill after the "accident"

5) If you want to be sure whether or not you're pregnant TAKE A TEST. You can buy if at any pharmacy. If you're afraid that someone might see you ask a close friend to buy it fore you, or walk a bit further where less people know you. Do the test in the morning, it's the best time.

6) If your period is late and you HAVE been fooling around, take the test. If it shows negative and it's still late then go and see your doctor ASAP. There might be another problem.

I really hope this helps. Please be careful. There are so many people all over the world who can't have children and badly want them. If you get an abortion just think about these people who every day pray for a child. This is not a joke!

Play safe :)

I do not believe that just because you are a teenager and if you get pregnant you should have an abortion thats crap. I was 16 yrs old when I had my son and i never once thought about having an abortion or giving my child up for adoption. I still went to high school everyday and i walked acrossed the stage and got my diploma and i went to college full time and worked full time i also had another baby when i was 19 and i was a damn good teenage mother my parents still tell me to this very day how proud they are of me i am now 23 and married and had my 3rd child 7 months ago and i kept all of my kids i raised my oldest 2 which are now 6 and 3 all on my own and i did a very good job so im sorry but just because you are a teenager and get pregnant does not mean you should have an abortion ive seen a lot of teenager mothers raise there kids better than some people i know who are in there 20's and 30's

What I'm trying to say is abortion should be the last thing on the list. If everyone are careful and follow these steps it might not even get to that point. Of course if you're underage and you get pregnant and you don't want the child you should get an abortion. I'm just saying that they should be more careful and giving them tips. This way the can get educated and relax a bit more not to think that they'll get pregnant if they're boyfriends finger them or if they masturbate etc.

I agree with the last poster 100%. In fact, this might be wrong according to some people, but if a girl is under 18 (even 18 is young), I would encourage her to have an abortion if she got pregnant. I really don't think it's fair to bring a child into the world when you can't even take care of yourself. What kind of life will that child have? and what kind of parent will a teenager be?

In my opinion, 13-17 year-olds should not be having sex in the first place! If you don't even know the basics of sex, and aren't mature enough to be responsible about it, you should NOT be having sex. It doesn't matter how "in love" you think you are.

I am with you in nearly every point of this article. The only part that I disagree with is the statement "There are so many people all over the world who can't have children and badly want them. If you get an abortion just think about these people who every day pray for a child. This is not a joke!"

This is an article stated by fact, not based on one's opinion. You clearly hint towards Pro Life. I do not think that you needed to phrase that statement in that way. Perhaps saying "If an unwanted pregnancy occurs, abortion is always an option but it can be difficult to go through, both physically and emotionally, so it is not for everyone."

src5404 agony auntYes this topic bothers me a lot, people are so undereducated about this. It is very frustrating to answer the same question over and over, especially to girls that are 13-15, really? I was not having sex when I was 13-15.
