I expressed my interest nearly 1.5 years ago that I wanted a more senior role and I was told that the team would be expanding and I'd have my own team to run and I'd be sent on management courses. Now the team has expanded but apparently due to budget I'm not able to go on the neccesary courses and for the specific role I do I'm only allowed to have a temp as and when I get busy.If my manager had been honest with me from the start and not made all these promises just to keep me in the job I wouldn't have minded but I just feel so used and feel I've wasted nearly 2 years of hard work and training others (which I might add never got any extra money to do). I am looking for other jobs but there's nothing suitable yet.Any advice? I'm so angry with how I been treated.
