writes: Well I have an awkward situation on my hands. My first boyfriend whom I loved three years ago suddenly contacts me and tells me he misses me and he always has and that he made a mistake ending it with me and that he wants to make it up to me any way he can. The problem is I'm engaged and up until my ex contacted me I'd been with my fiance for two years. Now I don't know what to do. I thought I loved my fiance and I do because I can't possibly hurt him. But there is the temptaion of being with my ex - he was more my type. Theres nothing that wrong with either of them. My ex ended our relationship because he was a commitment phobe. Now he's grown up and knows what he wants. My fiance isn't as fun or exciting anymore. What should I do? I don't want to hurt anybody.

I don't think you should return to your ex because its his loss! Now he realizes that the grass is greener, and as you said, you love your fiance so just because the ex has grown up is probably not a good reason to break the heart of the man who loved you enough in the first place to ask you to marry him.
