The previous advice is what I was going to give you, as well - find out from the bride/groom. If they don't know, then they will know who would have the number. They'd probably be happy to get it for you.
Also, I've run into this problem before and just asked for an instant messenger name or email. They're a lot easier to remember than a bunch of numbers. Then you have a way of contacting that person and getting their phone number later.
And someone there should have had a pen to write with, anyway. Was there a wedding coordinator present? Or other employees - a waiter, caterer, photographer, etc - all of these business people should have had a pen.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 April 2007): In such a case, you explain to the host of the wedding (who I assume you know) that you met another guest there and were unable to exchange numbers, and could they please pass along your phone-number/email address (this is more polite than trying to get hers from someone else, which can appear pervy)? It may have to get passed along a bit of a chain to get back to you, but everyone there has a connection to each other, so it's not impossible. Exploit that network.
