On New Year's Eve she was out and I thought that this was the best time and had even had the confidence to speak to her. On the way home I was speaking to her mate and it turns out that I may be related to her, her dad's brother married my Mum's sister so it turns out that we have the same cousins. My auntie divorced her uncle a long time ago though but I not sure if I am related to her or not. My question is Am I related to her and if not would it be right to pursue a relationship?

That is something the two of you will have to decide for yourselves. If you think it will cause problems with family memebers, maybe you should walk away from it before it is too difficult to do so.
Whatever you decide, I wish you luck!
