A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Have a question, for the lady's, been seeing a woman over two month's, seeing each other once a week, it's really good, feel's great.

I know she has family an friends, needs her alone time, but girl's if you really like a guy, are you content, with only once a week,I know I have strong emotions for her, she's wonderful.

I am not trying to press her into more time. But if I have my choice, hang out with a guy friend or her, there is no choice.

So should I back off some, am very romantic, not a bad boy,so am asking, am I reading to much in to this.

Or should I just walk away, I do not demand anything, am no control freak, just a little more time would be great.

I don't play games, am just falling for her, when I don't hear from her, or see her, like now its going to be two weeks, I feel empty inside, thanks, a man who is falling.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2015):

I'd wait another month. Then let her know how you feel. Tell her you'd like to spend more time together.

It's tough making time for a relationship. Depending on her responsibilities...once per week maybe all than she can spare right now. I'm single with no kids and I find it really hard to make time for dating. But when I'm in a relationship I like to see my guy 3x per week.

I also think you need to ask her what type of relationship she wants. Maybe she's not ready to be coupled up so soon.

It's nice to here that you really like her but it's only been two months. Don't fall so fast. Take your time. If after 4 months she still isn't interested in spending more time together I would move on.

Am the guy, who wrote, well we went out again, spent the night together, it was fantastic, but, after I went home the next morning, she always wants me to leave early, she say's she's busy, makes me feel like am a fwb, so I tex her and told her that, maybe she is ok with it, once a week but am not, most of the time the woman wants to spend more time with the man, so now am waiting to see if she call's or texs me, if she doesn't well, I guess we are done, I just will go NC, delete her number, so I won't be temped to call her, an I thought she was different, that's why I treated her so special, cause she is, but I must not be to her, thanks again

janniepeg agony auntIf I am a woman I would not be content with once a week meetings. I would keep quiet for the first 2 months but if nothing changes after a year I will complain. Every woman is different but sometimes you have to care about your needs and your compatibility.

I would give her a few more months to see if there is long term potential. What happens if you are still a weekend boyfriend after the 6 month mark and she brushes off your concern about long term? After that time if she is still that busy, then even if you get married she would have no time for you, except for the dark hours when you are asleep. I think falling can be more of a choice than just a state of mind, and being a romantic person. Usually people are cautious until they are certain that both are on the same page. If you automatically fall for any beautiful woman within weeks then you risk getting your heart broken. The time to be romantic is when you belong to each other and there's trust and connection developed.
