A female United States, *west writes:

My boyfriend and I broke up about 2 months ago now and we have still remained friends. Two days ago I was speaking to him and he was concerned about where I've been because I haven't returned his call from the night before. Then, during our conversation, I mentioned something about when he starts dating someone new and his reply was "I don't want to date anyone else and besides if I wanted to date anyone, it would be you". What exactly does this statement mean? Is he thinking about getting back together or am I just reading too much into this?
