writes: The other night when I was out with my bf, we just met this new group of guys and girls, and my bf said one of the girls that she looked just like Britney Spears. And she asked if that was a compliment and he said 'hell yeah, britney spears is hot!'. He then turned to me and said 'dont you think so? britney spears is hot and she looks just like her'. I was really upset by his comments. To make things worst, he kept going on about it all night, as the girl kept going 'i cant believe you think i look like her, i dont think i do'- and so he felt some need to convince her she just looked like hot britney. mind you, i didnt see any similarity. Am I overeacting by thinking what he did was flirting, inappropiate and disrespectful?

No I dont think you are to be honest; I think this is quite blatent. Even if it had been a singular remark then it would have been bad but to persist makes it worse. To turn round and involve you was awful and was kind of rubbing it in your face.
I think you need to have a chat with your bf about this; tell him how upset you were and hopefully he will see how wrong he was; if he doesn't still stick to your guns because this really wasnt on. Good luck :)x
