Am I over-reacting when I think...she may have lost interest in me?

Question - (30 September 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 30 September 2008)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There is a girl Im really interested in who is in one of my college classes. She seems to be interested in me also. Recently she told me that we should hang out soon. A week passed and she didn't say anything about hanging out. This weekend I asked her if she wanted to do something and she replied that she was going to visit her parents back home. I am over-reacting thinking she may have lost interest in me. Do I need to give this more time?
