So, there's this guy that I've liked for two years. He's an amazing guy, makes me smile whenever i see him, there's only one problem, he's my brothers best friend. Also one of my good friends brother. He's 3 and a half years older than me, I dn't know why I've liked him this long! One weekend, he went to prom with a girl who is two years older than me, and two years younger than him. I thought it was just a date, turns out it wasn't. They started dating, and i was devistated! They broke up soon after that, so I was happy. A couple of months later, he gives my best friend a ride, he was flirting. She said she kinda likes him. It made me so mad, but then soon she got over it. Anyway, so I was at this play, and I saw him, with his ex girlfriend. they were sitting right next to each other and hugging and cuddling and blah blah blah. I didn't know how to feel, happy or sad. I'm absolutely sure I'm over him. When I say them hugging and smiling at each other, I smiled and said "Awwww that's so cute", but my heart stopped at the same time. I have no idea what this means! Help?

aunt honesty agony auntOk it sounds to me like you are getting over him but that there probably will always be those little pangs of jelousy, probably not even to do with him but more that you want the closeness and affection of a boyfriend.

Try and stay away from him as much as you can and not think of him however hard it is. Why dont you go out with your friends and try meeting a guy that can be yours. Goodluck.
