A female Sri Lanka age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I'm 22 and I sometimes have Panic attacks, it started off last November when I found out that my boyfriend has expressed his feeling to one of his co-workers. We are still together, when I ask him why he did something like that he told me that he needed to clear it off with her since she too has a boyfriend and he ended it then and there. After I found out I started to have problems with myself!! It's all over now... but I'm finding it very hard to forget it, I sometimes accuse my boyfriend for cheating, which he didn't. I do trust him what he say's is there's nothing like that and he just told her how he felt about her and ended it off then and there. Chapter closes. He's having infinite patience with me coz I do all the crazy things. When I get angry or when we are in a fight I bring out the past. More than him it hurts me a lot and it has affected me physically and I think mentally also.

2 weeks back we had a fight and all I did was hit my head on the wall so hard that I got some bumps. It was hurting, I couldn’t even rest my head on the pillow coz it hurt so much and even today I did the same and it was worse today coz I hit my head so hard that I'm surprised that I'm still alive. I have gotten bumps all over my head today and it hurts even more compared to last time.

Another one more thing that my right hand finger tips are numbed and they are blue.(I'm finding it hard to type also coz it hurts) I don’t have fever but I feel as if I'm very weak. I just want to know if I'm mentally psycho??

shoud i go to a doc and get my head cheacked?? please advice me . . .

A female reader, anonymous, writes (21 March 2009):

Well, "mentally psycho" is not a real diagnosis, is it?

I think that as soon as you start learning the names of common things like depression and anxiety, and how it's ok to feel like that occasionally, then maybe you will blow up less and have fewer drama attacks.

Self-harm is (obviously) dangerous and you are putting strain on your relationship. Get therapy!
