 He soundslike a wonderful man! Maybe he just has a low sex drive. Men do start to slow down in their 30's. Is it possible he is on any kind of medication (like high blood pressure pills) which can affect his sex drive...? Perhaps he was raised to treat women with respect and to "value" them so it is hard for him to get in touch with his "raw sexuality". Discuss your feelings with him and maybe if he knows it's okay to be more sexual, he will be able to overcome his shyness.
