writes:Hello there , I met this guy last march (lets call him x) X and I really got on we got with each other a lot and became good friends as well. When me and x are together we are so comfortable with each other we have good banter , play fight , talk about our families and our problems. People who meet us say we are a cute together which i always feel a bit awkward because we are not together! he always comments on what i am wearing saying i look nice.He always hints at how good we would be together but when it comes down to being together it Never happens! He is a bit of a player but hes known me for a while so i wouldnt think he would use me. My friends say he likes me but hes to much of a player to commit but this comes from my friends :/We are moving to the same place in september and he said to me 'maybe i will find my life partner through you' is he just trying to upset me? or does he mean me?Does he like me? or am i getting my hopes up?

reader, anonymous, writes (22 May 2011): Hmmm....it sounds tricky. My vibe is that he is 'playing' with you a bit through these statements for a reaction. I think he does like you and wants to see where things go. I think you could nearly be a bit blunt with this guy and ask him straight out what he feels towards you even. He sounds like the personality that would respond to that action.
