A female Canada age 26-29, *he.rly.hurts writes:

Alright,

(Not their real names)

I love Matt (18 yrs old)

I love Jimmy (14 yrs old)

I am Sarah (14 yrs old)

Matt is my ex, we dated when I was 12 and he was 16. I never really got over him, as in, I tend to fall back for him whenever I really think of him or see him. When we were dating, he never did anything that would make me uncomfortable, always super respectful. Jimmy and I dated a few weeks ago, around christmas but he's always trying things. He wants me to give him hand and says just that then he'll be happy but I'm pretty sure if I give him that he's gonna want more. I really like Jimmy but I'm abstinent and I dont want to get into anything sexual. Matt, on the other hand, never asked/mentioned/did anything sexual with me. Matt won't take me back any more, Jimmy will but only if I give him what he wants.

Does anyone wanna help me out here? Am I just being stupid by not giving Jimmy what he wants? Should I try to get back with Matt? I need advice here.

A female reader, TasteofIndia United States +, writes (12 February 2009):

TasteofIndia agony auntYou are NOT stupid for not giving Jimmy what he wants. You, are obviously a smart, classy girl and he is obviously a horny teenager who can't think with anything but his you-know-what. Don't stick with him... he will be one of those guys who is only nice to you when he's wanting some action. Matt, it seems like, is not interested in a relationship right now, so why waste your time chasing after him? Too much effort!

I say ditch them both and find option #3 - a new guy who has Matt's respectful nature and Jimmy's availability. You'll find someone and you'll probably end up liking him most of all.

Good luck!
