Am I insane for wanting to go to Ireland to find love?

I seem to have some kind of crazy obsession with Ireland. So much so that I'm strongly considering saving money for a few months, taking a flight over, and backpacking for a while... with a hidden agenda of falling in love with an Irishman. How bad of an idea is this? I just want to believe that love is real, and I have such an odd feeling that its in Ireland.

Yes, I had those feelings a few years ago about England. I just knew I'd meet a great guy from there. And guess what? I did. We've been dating for about a year now :) So I say go for it!

LOL it's not a Collin Farrel thing.

It's not completely unlike me to up and leave for a different state, so why not a different country this time? Hasn't anyone just had one of those -feelings- like they had to do something and what they would find when they did it?

Yeah, that sounds like a straightjacket waiting to happen.

But it sounds like a blast as well. If nothing else, I'll get to see Ireland!

Just go, but don't push it too far because not everyone there will

want more than sex probably. Plus even if you don't find love you will have a great time.

Jmtmj agony auntSounds like a fantastic idea! :)

Good thing about it is that even if you don't find love in Ireland, you'll still have an absolute blast, see new places and meet new people.

Sounds like a win-win to me so start saving...
