 Whenever you think of him, do you feel this happiness that envolves your body and mind? Do you feel happy around him? Do you wish to be with him because he makes you happy and not because you feel needy(sexually)?
On what you described, it seems you may be falling in love with him (at least to me) but you just have strong feelings for him for now. This may develop in love giving it the time, though.
When you do fall in love, no one would make you doubt your love for him and you will know you'll stay with him no matter what, even if he commits some mistakes. Also, you will know you'll stay with him even when he can't satisfy you sexually (something that some people confuse with love).
