It does sound like you may be in love with him, but i guess mothers also have this sixth sense and if she thinks hes a good guy for you to be with, i dont see the problem! :) just please please be careful, besides youll have your fammilly around, so it seems safeish. :) xxx

You need to know he's real, I know talking to him on the phone and stuff might make you think hes real but he might not be, you need to see him on cam, check his profile for friends he hangs around with, and when you meet him do not do it on your own. A lot of relationships can be different in person, I know you will get a lot of post saying "oh your 16 you dont know what love is!!" that's what everyone said to me but we have been together so long now everyone knows this relationship is not a joke and I knew I was in love with him and vice versa. If it's true love, you will know and soon everyone around you will :)

It depends how long you have known him. I met my current partner that I am with now through the internet, we spoke for a year and a half and realized how in love we were, I was only 15 he was 19. We thought it wouldn't work, I thought it would never happen, when he lived so far away, (ok, it was only Dublin & I live in the UK but still? very far away especially when you cant afford to see him and are so young.) I was so young, he was alot older, I wasnt familiar with having relationships but I knew this was for real. he saved up all his money from working, came over & visited me. found a flat, left all his family & friends & he has been over here for a long time. I know you are only young, but if this is true love, it will work & you will be together one day.

Without out sounding offensive or anything (apologise if I do) at the tender age of 16 you dont really no what love is. Lots of people fall 'in love' over the internet, I no I have done it my self but it doesnt always work out for everyone. What you need to think about is is it actually possible in reality for you both to have a real relationship when you are on the opposite sides of the world. I understand how hard and confusing that this must be for you but you really do need to look at the bigger picture.
How much can you really no someone just by trusting what they tell you on the fone, conputer and webcam. Just think about it and you will realise soon enough that it isnt a possible situation that you can even think about.
Hope this helps and good luck x
