 hormones they do strange things to a young girl of ten,my advice to you is these feelings are all normal.enjoy your friends and your childhood it goes to quick .if you do have major concerns there is help on sex education get a book from the libary on go onto a children bbc web page but whatever you do just remember all sex and feelings is for people a lot older your to young to understand all this complex stuff darling!! mother of a 10 year old girl

When I was 10, I went to play in the fields with my friends of the same sex and went to the cinemas and had crushes on male pop stars and wanted to be like certain female ones. I never kissed anyone let alone thought about sexual activities until I was around 13. Baby you are way too young to be thinking such thoughts. Treasure your childhood and wait for as long as you can to experience sex. Whichever sex you eventually choose you'll appreciate it more. Right now you should be thinking about what career path you want to take and creating a personality for yourself.

Don't be alarmed, alot of women are attracted to the same sex, but are not Gay, so if you still have these feelings when you get older, deal with it then, But atm, you just enjoy being a young kid!

You’ve probably heard that it’s something bad by other Children
your age despite the modern age we live in some young people are still
ignorant, But maybe if you find out properly what it all really means do your research
Find a book or an (age appropriate website)
You will then realise you don’t have to be confused about any of this
Right now,
You are bound to be curious about sex and such because you whole body’s
Developing or about to Develop and your starting to think about grown up stuff and because of T.V
, Films and magazines practically throwing it in your face about sexuality (before your completely ready) your maybe confusing admiration or curiosity with fancying girls this is completely normal,
And in my opinion do what feels right for you right now, and don’t let your confidence be knocked you are not weird for having these feelings

reader, anonymous, writes (6 January 2007): I second Lily's opinion, you are too young to label yourself lesbian....the most common and most probable thing would be that you are completely heterosexual.
What do you know about lesbian sex anyway? Are you looking at porn sites on the internet? If you are you need to stop doing that as the content is not appropriate for someone your age, let alone for a lot of people older than you....those sites trivialize sex and women in particular and are not realistic of how sex really is between two loving people...so don't go there if you have not already.
Understand that at your age, you can have strong feelings for female friends almost to the point of infatuation, this does not mean that you are gay...it is just a part of growing up and learning how to relate to other people and trying on some different identities and personalities until you figure out what fits for you...so do not worry or stress out about it....as you get a bit older you will have some stronger feelings for boys and you will know for sure that what you like is a boy to kiss you and someday be the father to your kids if you should decide you want kids...
Just enjoy your friendships for now, no need to rush into anything sexual, your hormones are going crazy, but it is best to wait for all kinds of reasons that you can read about on this site.

 I wouldn't say this made you a lesbian. I think at your young age you are just beginning to have some sexual interests, and a nude female body is what you most identify with at this point. It could be that you find them attractive because someday you hope (and certainly will be) sexy like those pictures are. I would not be alarmed by this... your sexual identity will sort itself out all on it's own. If you are a lesbian you will definately know it by the time you completely mature, if you are not, you will know that too. Don't stress about this.. you are far too young to be worrying. I will tell you, when I was your age I felt the same way, I later realized that it wasn't that I had sexual feelings for them, it was that I found them attractive and beautiful. Hope this helps put your worries aside.

 You are so young at the moment, and quite frankly shouldn't be looking at pictures of naked girls, and many girls your age aren't even interested in boys, never mind girls.
I think you need to just enjoy being a child whilst you still can be.
