writes:I have been dating a guy for 2 months that i met through mutual friends. he has never been great at calling or texting just to say 'hi'. he has a demanding job which he is unhappy in and he says is affecting his sleep, making him stressed etc. My problem is, despite us now seeing each other more regularly, knowing each other quite well and being more intimate and affectionate, he does not initiate any more contact. he doesn't call just to see how i am or anything. i left his house early yesterday as i wasn't feeling well and he didn't call to see how i was. he didn't answer when i called, just replied to a text i sent later. do you think i should give up on this one?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2010): I was just in a realationship something like this our. If he dosent make the time for u than u r wasting ur time get out b4 u get to wraped up and then it would be even hard.. I did I tht this help even though its short and straight to the point....
